We have two suggestions for offices that wish to offer discounts/sales/promotions to their patients.

1. Create & post a cheat sheet for staff to refer to and manually change the price on checkout. 
Tip! Use "Notes" on checkout to indicate why the item has been discounted if you would like to be able to view in the SOA.
 
2. If you have a limited number of products (5-10) that you regularly put on sale, add them to item setup indicating in "Description" that the product is on sale, i.e., "Promo Vitamin D".
